Hoops Academy

The Hoops Academy had their first game at Chase Leisure Centre, Cannock on Sat 17th June 2006. The game was very entertaining as the players put into action the skills that Coach Raffa has been working on with them. The game was very close but in the end the result was a 30-33 defeat as the older and taller players from Chase began to score more regularly.

The hoops are to have a further 3 matches against 3 teams from Stafford Basketball Club on the 5th, 12th and 19th of March 2007, respectively. This round of matches will then culminate in a final 4th match on the 26th March against an 'All Stars' side made up of the most effective players from Stafford Basketball Club's three teams.
