Weston Hoops Open Scrimmage

Good news lad’s basketball on a Friday evening at Weston Road will continue. Steve and I have agreed to trial a new initiative - an open scrimmage night 7.30-9.30pm ish.

No membership fee, no league fees, no match fees. Steve will provide a structure for the evening’s basketball.

Steve and I have agreed to a trial for 5 weeks (not 25th Jan –Staffs Police have a tournament and I’m away) first session next Friday 18th Jan 2008-7.30-9.30pm ish-£3

I will call it ‘Stafford Open Scrimmage’ (unless someone else has a better idea)– Staffs Police  players will pay Steve as he will pay a one off fee for the Staffs Police players, other players £3 and students £2.

Teams can come along 5 players @£10 extra players £2 each and challenge the other groups or teams to short games.

Hopefully it will get off the ground be self funding and then continue into the summer
